About Saved Instances
Hi guys,
For the benefit of the new players who dont understand the raid reset/saved instances logic, I'm here to explain it to you guys. =)
For larger instances (ZG/AQ/MC), Blizzard actually allows the players up to 7 days to clear an instance. These days DO NOT run from the day you start clearing instances, but is dependant on the Raid Calendar Please note these are US times and you need to convert them to local timings.
This means that once you join a PUG raid, you will not be able to go to the same instance with your guild until the next reset. I.e. you gonna miss your guild run.
For example, if a ZG instance runs from wed-fri, please do not join a PUG ZG group on wed if you wanna come for the Thurs-Fri Guild ZG run...If in any case you find yourself in this unfortunate situation, please cancel your slot/queue on the raid page so that we can allocate your slot to someone else =(
Every week is different so you have to check the calendar before you PUG.
Please approach any of your friendly neighbourhood officers if you need further clarification =D

06 Oct 06 will always be the day that we remember as the day Makan first owned Hakkar!!
It was great effort on all the raiders part, with many fresh 60s in the group, who all put in their 200% of heart and soul!!! We barely made it (less than 20s to enrage) but WHO CARES!! ITS OWNAGE!!!!

Makanians fall to no one!

10 brave makanians ventured into UBRS, slaying every single dragon and orc that stood in their way. After defeating the dragon lord Drakkisath, we moved to the Beast's lair to prepare ourselves.
Preparations were done.. and CT summoned Lord Valthalak.. but we were slain.. DPS were inconsistent.. Undaunted by the danger.. Escargos ankhed and resed the team.. however.. Bakkua wiped us again coz his little kitty tot he could take on Uncle V.. wahaha..
Morale was low.. but we braced ourselves.. it was a long battle with many casualties.. but we managed.. after weeks of failure.. MAKAN HAS OFFICIALLY DOWNED LORD VALTHALAK~!

If you can't connect to vent, roster, raid and forum
Seems there are some problem with Singnet dns, it's unable to resolve nrgservers.net urls since yesterday afternoon :'( Done several test using Pacnet dns, which results to be no issue at all.
I've just sent Singnet customer support an email reporting this, awaiting reply.
Life goes on ...
1. Ventrilo - Server - Hostname or IP: 70.86.195.115
2. Open C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc\hosts in notepad, add 67.19.206.40 makan.nrgservers.net at the bottom of the file
... and tada ~~ let's WoW !!! ^-^

A group of Makan+Kakis ventured into a abandoned jungle known as Zul Gurub. Unknowing the danger it holds, they stepped into the altar of the High Priestess Arlokk. Prata, the overcooked pancake, rang the bell as everyone prepared themselves for the priestess' onslaught. True enough, these adventurers did not know what to do in this situation and fell to their deaths.
Longan, a white ball of goo, saved the group through a Soul Stone resurrection. The group went on for the second attempt. Having witnessed the prowess of the High Priestess, we managed to get that beech to 7%. However due to the rogues' inability to fend themselves from the power of Arlokk, the group fell again. All hope was lost, as minions of Arlokk stayed persistent in their slaughter. Stealthed away in a corner, they waited for us. Until...

Our savior ankhed, the one and only Beefchop. Using his uber beefstick and beefshield, he slaughtered the remaining panthers. All of us watched, as we panic for him when his life drops below 100 and still manages to heal it back to 2k. All of us watched, as we cheered for him when the first panther die. He stuffed his beefstick in and out.. erm details will be skipped =P
.. and rescued us all. After that we gave the High Priestess a big OWNAGE and got her epics. =D
