Seeking power...

On 30th June 2006, the 2 dark lords of makan, Longan & Demonplus, set off on a mission to gain power. With the help of Meehoon, Pisang & Babyzmerlin, they party stormed thru Dire Maul (West), slaying orges and hyenas that stood in their way.

The journey was long, as the group fought thru a series of gigantic treants, mana-burning elementals and even ghosts of the elven. Alas, they finally reached the chamber of the legendary 9-eyed beast known as Immo'Thar. After a tedious fight, they managed to pacify the monster.

With that out of the way, the dark lords began their demonic chanting. They summoned a mystical being from the netherworld to assist them. J'eevee, the imp belonging to one of the most powerful warlocks in Xorothian, arrived. The little one placed a Doomsday candle to help in the damage, a Bell of Dethmoora to reduce the damage taken, and lastly a Wheel of the Black March to boost the demonic powers of the dark lords.

Without prior notice after J'eevee had set the tools, the surroundings began to distort in space, open portals of all sorts. waves of imps came rushing in towards the group followed by powerful dreadlords. The battle was tough, as the dark lords focused on cursing and throwing bolts of demonic energies while the rest of the party assisted in keeping them alive. After a long tedious battle, the dark lords managed to finished the chant for the 9 gylphs and sealed off the portals.

But that was not the end, the dark lords began their 2nd wave of chanting. As the skies ripped open from the demonic energies, galloped a demonic being known as the Dreadsteed. The beast was powerful, but the group stayed firm and finally they managed to destroy it and its allies.

The battle was over.. finally.. and the dark lords were bestowed with the power.. to summon a Dreadsteed..

ZG Run on 28th, 29th, 30th

Greetings all makanians, I wish to express my appreciation of the effort put in for yesterday's ZG run. We managed to kill snake boss with ease due to the perfect coordination we had yesterday. Had a little problem at bat boss as people were still unsure of the "fire" phase, but fret not.

P.S. Thanks to the healers who did their jobs, the tanks that held their aggro and lastly the dps classes for damage and not overaggroing =p

We will be trying ZG for these 3 days, hopefully we will get bat boss and perhaps more to "farming status" hehe.. I will be raid leader for these runs and Meehoon and Beefchop will be helping mi. I MAY not sound very fierce over ventrillo or talk very strictly lol.. BUT.. to make this a success I hope people can listen to either mi or the other 2 officers' instructions CAREFULLY. Hopefully we will be able to smell Hakkar soon enough =D

Let's rest well, and tonight.. Jeklik is going DOWN i say!!! =P

Viewership of this blog (Guildies and friends!)

Hi All,

I would like to contact a small survey of this blog and how often makan guildies(maybe also other wow friends) check it out.
Purpose of this post is to see, currently, how well infomation can be disseminated out through blog.

As such, i request each viewer to post their IGN(in game nick) to say you've seen this post.

Hopefully through in-game Message of the Day (MOTD) we are able to increase viewership, and encourage more interaction within us =D.

ZG, the 2nd Wave

On 9th June 2006, commandos of MaKaN initiated operation "ZG, the 2nd Wave". With the help of elites from DOOM assisting, it made the whole raid more lively and experienced in a sense. Batman, Venom, Spiderman, and Bao Long were defeated thru this joint effort. 3 cheers for MaKaN and DOOM.

P.S. My first time leading a raid, so do ignore the mistakes I do. I will get better, I hope.. lol =P

ZG trial run

3th June 2006, commandos of makan took their first step into Zul'Gurub. The numbers were not enough, and we had help from various guilds to fill up. The hall of fame as follows..

Prata
Chengteng
Beefchop
Meehoon
Pisang
Natutu
Lucisxmerlin
Naan
Meepoktah
Zilong
Kayatoast
Babyzmerlin
Immortale
Devilsblood
Stryen
Ditrias
Hao
Shenmage
Gnesbik
Zerofreeze
Altarias
Zenithpriest
Burichan

We zerged our way through the thrash mobs, got wiped by a berseker. But morale was still high, and we moved on to the High Priest Venoxis a.k.a. the snake boss. We had roughly about 5-6 wipes on that boss, but thanks to our GL Prata, who tried his best to keep everyone's morale up and think of a better strategy to fight the boss, we managed to kill it. The boss dropped a pretty nice 2-handed axe for shamans/hunters - Zulian Stone Axe. We zerged our way back to the High Priest Jeklik a.k.a. the bat boss. We had a few wipes here and there, but we managed again under the advice from Gnesbik and Hao. They are from DOOM, and they were quite adept at this. The boss dropped a shaman shield - Zulian Defender. We went over to Bloodlord Mandokir a.k.a. the raptor boss. We had a few wipes, but everyone was rather tired already so we called it a day.

I believe everyone had learnt alot in that tedious 6 hours run. Unlike UBRS, where people can just play very lazily, ZG requires you to have full concentration and every different class plays a important role in the whole raid. Looking forward to the next ZG (Prata plz organize! I think everyone gian liao LOL). Sorry i didn't take any pictures, had my full concentration on the run itself heh. =P Once again, thanks to everyone who came and made this possible. 3 Cheers for Makan!
