Finally I am exalted with Arathi Basin. That's it on BG for me, after I complete the exalted quest which is to hold 5 bases hehe.
Now I'll be concentrating on helping all guild members and herb farming to prepare for potions (so in case I need to mass produce hehe).
Oh yeah, there is a planned ZG run this saturday morning 10am GMT +8, be there or be square! If we really can't get the numbers for ZG, we'll do UBRS instead. Let's brush up on our raiding skills shall we hehe.
Those in need of Tier 0 set pants report to Prata, as he'll be as usual going for his pants, and of course we'll be doing 45 mins style hehe. My goodness, 45 mins seems to be so easy nowadays hehe.. we're pros now eh?
Hopefully we can get some good plate items for Babyz and Kaya on our runs.
Oh yeah, I managed to recruit some new players as well, they're playing horde from a different server, but due to time zone, not able to go raiding. Hence might be joining us, will let you guys know once I have more update.

Anyone Need Company?
For level 30+ - 40+ characters, anyone need help with big quests?
Take 1-2 lvl 60s and rape through the dungeon.
Currently i'm leveling up my hunter(46) along with ssunsett(46) hoping to catch up to fondue(51) and steamboat(49), so we can go Sunken Temple.
Besides that perhaps Bakkua(45?) can come along to help tank also? :D
Any sub 40s need help?

Lame Things to do in WoW Episode #01
I was initially apprehensive about contributing to this blog.(Not Wow-pro enuff!?) However, my talkalot nature just refuse to let me tiam tiam. So here I am, sharing in my first episode of "Lame things to do in WoW" series.
I figure out that on days of idle, my surfing brought me to uncharted dark sleasy corners of the net, these places charge you for getting access to their exploits, tips, full-featured maps, bots of all kinds and anything Blizzard dislikes. I found nuggets of info which may have been so "over" or "outdated" but perhaps would be nice to share. Here's the first instalment....
COD Gold Spinners - sound kind of like "Magic stone" con job, but if done in a tasteful manner, might really give u some spare gold. Easy to do, get a list of level 60s names, buy fishing rods, flowers, food, anything thats cheap and wrapped them in boxes. Send it to your name list with nice sounding messages like "a pleasant surprise awaits you... all for just 1 gold" or "I'm sure 1gold is a small price to pay for your curiousity..." . Set the mail to COD for 1 ~ 5 g. You will get a success rate of around 50%. (1g to level 60s, mo man tai ge la...)
HOWEVER, always use alternate chars, you dun wanna ur main to get chao mie (smelly name). NEVER say "This is what you order...!" or "Best epic fish rod!" or anything that says "SCAM"
The key here is "Be sincere!", you are not scamming, only asking for a trade-in for curiosity. They did get something, dun they?
WARNING, 72 hours suspensions have been given before....
A.H PRICE WAR - actually , this can be done even if in the real world....
put something good on the AH (blue and above), say worth 200g on market. Mark it up to 350g. Then advertise on Trade aggressively, "WTS Meepoktah's Underwear, 350g only, AH". Do it like for 10 minutes. Then, login with another character and advertise aggressively again "WTB Meepoktah's Underwear, willing to pay 450g, negotiable" . Some greedy buggers who have seen your earlier advertisement would "steam" now and /w you to offer it to you for 450g or lower. Pretend to negotiate it down.. to like 420g and agree on it. The greedy bugger will then go to the AH and buy my underwear for 350g (buyout), thinking that he can sell it to you for 420g, 70g PROFIT!!! Stay around until you know that the auction is sold. Then, log-off, decline the trade, saying that you have a better offer. YOU JUST SOLD YOUR ITEM for 150g more than the market price.
IMHO, I dun think this is a scam, it's purely trade. If it's done with 2 WoW accounts, it's lagi more legal.

The PUG ZG went rather well i would say.. until a stupid player ninja an EPIC MOUNT drop.. Hoezor <- put it on ur ignore list or something lol.. Overall ZG is quite fun.. strategies down, everyone listen to instructions.. its a piece of cake seriously.. everyone needs to know wat to do and wat not to do... pretty straightforward... *looking forward to that day*... hehe..

My 45mins Baron Run
I've cleared my 45mins barons run on friday night.
Prata, naan, and Chengteng played an essential roll, leading the run.
Thanks to them, i was able to reach the baron in 43 mins.
Of coz there was a tank called SAMCARR, from another guild.
He tanked really well, being semi epic, thats not the point since some warrior has wiped in tier 2 epic.
After this incident, i would think that the pulling part is impt, after numerous wipes through 3 weeks, i have come to believe that the 45mins run is more or less "perfect".
Prata pulled and the rest just DPS, although at the first part of the banshee queen, the warrior was MCed twice, we managed to make it through.
Prata kept us cool, i think overall naan,CT and prata did an excellent job running through 45mins.DPS was great as CT compensated the rest, naan's heals were conserving as the tank was the holding aggro well.
After me , i heard pisang or lucisxmerlin cleared it with almost 10mins to spare, incredible.
Kudos to these 3 guys :D

What is Onyxia?
ok now i havent see it before, i've only heard here and there.
So far i think it is a flying dragon that cannot be hit by melee, only range damage, causes Fear (duh).

Orrrh, ok ... so per kill of these give 3-4 Scales for onyxia, that is if the raid survives AOE 6k Shadow Flame DMG. crazy stuff.

About me and Warriors hehe
Just an update on my character.
Naan should be completing his Tier 0.5 set by next month or 2. Only left with Helm and Chest pieces left. Also at the same time, will be exalted with Arathi Basin and that's the end of BattleGround for him. The rewards for Warsong Gulch isn't useful, so will be skipping that.
Once all that is done I'm free full time to help out guild members when I'm online, since I've reached my current goals. Of course, is still free to help out guild members to clear instance/elite quests when we have a proper group going.
Also, we are in need of Warrior Tankers for instances. Babyzmerlin is on vacation as he's concentrating on Siaozmerlin with Guild Southern Cross. Best if we can find any tankers within our time zone to join the guild. Our guild is small and casual hence will be difficult to recruit hehehe ^^ Of course PUG are always out there but it's difficult to get the right synergy going.

Quite a nice and cosy place, a little noisy though, not condusive for compulsive gamers whom want to talk about WOW... hehe

Preparation for Zul'Gurub
As we all know, MaKan's next milestone will be to do Zul'Gurub (ZG) 20men.
This post will be to inform everyone on what you need to prepare for ZG. Information will be broken into 2 parts, "Add-Ons" and "ZG Guide". The first explaining what are the add-ons you need to run ZG efficiently, followed by a run through guide on ZG so everyone knows what "Pull and Kill the Bats!!!" means when Raid Leader shouts on Teamspeak.
This document is NOT meant only for 60s. In fact, it'll be good if everyone starts using these add-ons now to familiarize yourself with the functions of these add-ons.
Add-Ons:
1) TEAMSPEAK

Version to get: TeamSpeak 2 Client (RC2)
First on the list will be the "Teamspeak". Strictly speaking, this is more of a software then a Add-On. It's a voice communication tool that allows us to communicate better in instance and raids.
KUDOS! to Meehoon and Meepoktah, we now have our very own Dedicated MaKan - TeamSpeak Server!
Everyone PLEASE download and install it….even if you do not have a mic, use it to listen to whats going on.
No one can ever type “PAT INCOMING! Move in move in!” faster then raid leaders saying it in 1 second.
Operating Instructions(Do this before starting wow):
Once downloaded and installed, run it. Click on Connection > Quick Connect.
In the new window, enter the following details
Server Address: Get from me ingame. Not posting here.
Nickname: Your Char Name
Leave the rest empty and click on connect.
Once in, you’re in the main lobby. Here you can either join a channel or create one.
2) Teamspeak Overlay

After getting Teamspeak installed, suggest you get this mod too so that you know who’s talking.
Simple installation and operation. Just run it.
3) CT_RaidAssist

MUST HAVE! Without this don't bother to go ZG.

Imagine not having to target cursed members then click decurse! Simply spam a button and it'll auto target the cursed member then decurse!
This is a cleaning mod. Its job is to help a class that can remove debuffs, do it with ease. Load the mod, bind a key (or create a macro "/decursive") and run, no further configuration or editing needed, it auto configures. Run the mod when ever you wish to cleanse a status ailment, or even think one might be on your target, party, or even raid party, if nothing is cleaned, there is no penalty or cool down.
Installation: Same as CT_RaidAssist. Extracting zip file to User Interface>AddOn folder will do the job.
The above are pretty much the general stuffs you need to run ZG. For the other class specific useful mods, it's up to you. Ask naan. He's the mod freak! >:P
