Joining Raids
Hello all my lovely makanians!
Since we now have a raid registration page, we will be making full use of it. Please submit your queue requests on the page, remember to indicate if you are going to be late! If there are too many of a certain class, we might have to do a first come first serve and cap the numbers on that class so please register early!!
I will still be sending out reminders for ZG registration for the next few weeks, but hopefully after that you guys will automatically sign up and save my sms money :)

Scream Makanians, as loud as you can!
Before I paste the links, read thru these points coming out in the expansion.. and SCREAM with joy!
1) 40-man raid content will be reduced to groups of 25 or 10
2) Difficulty level from 60 to 70 can be selected for the bigger instances, for more challenges.
3) PvP will recieve a major overhaul, known as "Arena PvP", team-based groups of 2,3 or 5.
4) No more ladder system for PvP, honor points are used as a currency to purchase PvP rewards.
5) Paladins will be focused into a secondary tank + healer, with a new skill that works like "snap-aggro" ability that is castable on party members, the party member affected will have all aggro released and given to the paladin.
6) Shamans will be turned into a DPS + healer hybrid, with a new skill known as Bloodlust, which is a party buff that increases the speed of melee attacks and reduce casting times for a short duration.
THE CASUAL PLAYERS ARE HAVING SOME LOVE FROM BLIZZARD~!
With that in place, can everyone smell their Tier 3 soon? =P

We are progressing!
You know, even though it's taxing on myself, I feel very happy to be able to lead the ZG raids til now. As of today, MaKaN n Circle of Kakis has officially down 4 bosses in Zul'Gurub, that is Jeklik(Bat), Venoxis(Snake) Bloodlord(Raptor), Mar'li(Spider). I can feel the progression and the effort done by everyone. Hopefully next week, we can down Thekal(Tiger) and Arlokk(Panther) .. and maybe the week after, Hakkar =P
Although it might sound a little cheesy, I wanna give a pat to all those that played a part in the raid, whether u are healers, tankers, dps, etc. You have all done your job and I'm glad. Its not just about the game anymore, its bout the bond and coordination that we have share. Not falling to new challenges, and a willingness to try.
I will continue to try and do my best leading, I WILL bring you guys to hakkar! But lend me your support and strength =)

MaKaN is a group of mostly South East Asia dwellers, roaming the dungeons in search of gears for ZG, MC, BWL, AQ, Naxx.
We are looking into focusing on endgame contents and are actively seeking raiders that can regularly attend weekly guild runs. Do note that we are mostly working people, so our game time will be in the evenings n weekends (GMT +8) ! We are NOT hardcore ... but will be consistently online at the said times =P

Weekly guild runs
Greetings all,
To further build up the team spirit between our guild members and Circle of Kakis, the officers and I have decided to embark on a weekly guild run basis.
Wednesday evening 10pm (GMT+8) - Upper Blackrock Spire
Thursday evening 10pm (GMT+8) - Upper Blackrock Spire
Friday evening 10pm (GMT+8) - Zul'Gurub
Saturday morning 12noon (GMT+8) - Zul'Gurub
The UBRS runs are mainly to gear up the fresh 60s for better performance in other raids.
For ZG runs, if you are interested and CAN make it for that week, please sign up in the raid planner by thursday night. Those who register after the closing time will be slotted IF only we have space, priority goes to registered members.
Also, BE at the designated raid location AT the time specified, not making your way there at that time. Latecomers will be dealt with, don't waste other people's precious time =)

New ranks!
Okay, as most people can see, the rank system of our guild has been altered. Thx to all the officers who assisted in coming up with the names =P
Basically the flow of it is this ..
Peon - This rank will also be used to place members in that are in trouble and need to be spoken to. There is no guild chat allowed in Peon status. It is also the default new recruit/initiate rank as well, there is no way to fix this, hence all new recruits should be immediately promoted to that of Squire upon invitation to the guild.
Squire - You wil be promoted to this rank as you join the guild
Templar - A privillege for people to hit 40 and above
Crusader - Congrats, you have made it to 60 and is part of the guild's main raiding force
ALT - This rank will be given to your alternate characters
Marqius ALT - Officers' alternate characters
Quartermaster - Our guild's treasury
Secretary - Manages guild's admin affairs as well as resources
Marqius - Officers whom are given responsibilities to help in organizing events and settle disputes
Makan king - Guild leader of MaKaN

Zul'Gurub run with ~Circle of Kakis~

Coordination-wise needs some brushing up but I guess everyone had fun.. I recalled the shouting and cursing when we killed the bat boss lol.. The marqius of MaKaN

Overall, it was a rather good experience for some of the makan ppl .. Mainly myself, Naan, Ssunsett and Sunshines. Having a glimpse at these end-game content makes mi both excited and worried. I know we'll get there, just hang on tight Makanians .. ^^
