New Raid Rules

There are new raid rules up on the raid page with regards to the ZG run. It means less slot for makanians, which means that you guys actually have to be punctual to get a slot!!! =P

If you can't connect to vent, roster, raid and forum
Seems there are some problem with Singnet dns, it's unable to resolve nrgservers.net urls since yesterday afternoon :'( Done several test using Pacnet dns, which results to be no issue at all.
I've just sent Singnet customer support an email reporting this, awaiting reply.
Life goes on ...
1. Ventrilo - Server - Hostname or IP: 70.86.195.115
2. Open C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc\hosts in notepad, add 67.19.206.40 makan.nrgservers.net at the bottom of the file
... and tada ~~ let's WoW !!! ^-^

August 26, 2006, Saturday.
A group of Makan+Kakis ventured into a abandoned jungle known as Zul Gurub. Unknowing the danger it holds, they stepped into the altar of the High Priestess Arlokk. Prata, the overcooked pancake, rang the bell as everyone prepared themselves for the priestess' onslaught. True enough, these adventurers did not know what to do in this situation and fell to their deaths.
Longan, a white ball of goo, saved the group through a Soul Stone resurrection. The group went on for the second attempt. Having witnessed the prowess of the High Priestess, we managed to get that beech to 7%. However due to the rogues' inability to fend themselves from the power of Arlokk, the group fell again. All hope was lost, as minions of Arlokk stayed persistent in their slaughter. Stealthed away in a corner, they waited for us. Until...

Our savior ankhed, the one and only Beefchop. Using his uber beefstick and beefshield, he slaughtered the remaining panthers. All of us watched, as we panic for him when his life drops below 100 and still manages to heal it back to 2k. All of us watched, as we cheered for him when the first panther die. He stuffed his beefstick in and out.. erm details will be skipped =P
.. and rescued us all. After that we gave the High Priestess a big OWNAGE and got her epics. =D

Joining Raids
Hello all my lovely makanians!
Since we now have a raid registration page, we will be making full use of it. Please submit your queue requests on the page, remember to indicate if you are going to be late! If there are too many of a certain class, we might have to do a first come first serve and cap the numbers on that class so please register early!!
I will still be sending out reminders for ZG registration for the next few weeks, but hopefully after that you guys will automatically sign up and save my sms money :)

Scream Makanians, as loud as you can!
Before I paste the links, read thru these points coming out in the expansion.. and SCREAM with joy!
1) 40-man raid content will be reduced to groups of 25 or 10
2) Difficulty level from 60 to 70 can be selected for the bigger instances, for more challenges.
3) PvP will recieve a major overhaul, known as "Arena PvP", team-based groups of 2,3 or 5.
4) No more ladder system for PvP, honor points are used as a currency to purchase PvP rewards.
5) Paladins will be focused into a secondary tank + healer, with a new skill that works like "snap-aggro" ability that is castable on party members, the party member affected will have all aggro released and given to the paladin.
6) Shamans will be turned into a DPS + healer hybrid, with a new skill known as Bloodlust, which is a party buff that increases the speed of melee attacks and reduce casting times for a short duration.
THE CASUAL PLAYERS ARE HAVING SOME LOVE FROM BLIZZARD~!
With that in place, can everyone smell their Tier 3 soon? =P

It's our High Priestress's Birthday!!!

it is the time of the year where the birds flew with more valour and the rocks seems to shine..
The anniversary, symbolic of the High Priestess, Meehoon's arrival, brings to the forest a sense of joy and spendour.
